We take great pride in our short-term rehabilitation program. Participants in this program are our “guests” as their stay with us is temporary. Our single-level floor plan lends itself to easy mobility for our residents as they visit with friends and family, dine and attend activities within the facility. Our beautifully decorated living, dining and activity rooms provide our residents with safe and comfortable settings in which they can relax, socialize and share special moments while enjoying all the comforts of home. Our smaller size creates an intimate and residential atmosphere for our residents.

Adjusting to a new environment isn’t always easy. We are sensitive to this and while we hope our living environment is warm and welcoming, what says home more than something personal? Although our resident rooms are fully furnished, our residents are welcome to bring familiar items with them such as photographs and other special mementos to help create a feeling of home here at Newark Manor.

Cable television service is conveniently available in each resident room. Each of our resident bedrooms and restrooms are furnished with a special nurse call system to reassure our residents that personal nursing assistance, if needed, is immediately accessible. Newark Manor provides complete laundry and housekeeping services as well as easy and convenient access to in-house dental, podiatry, optometry, beauty shop and barber services.
